Abner - Stafford

Amanda LeAnn Abner and Jarett Dale Stafford announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Abner of Oran, Mo., and the late Nancy Abner. Stafford is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Stafford of Cape Girardeau.

Abner is a 1996 graduate of Scott County High School, and a 2001 graduate of Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center School of Practical Nursing. She is an invasive cardiovascular scrub nurse in the Heart Institute at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Stafford is a 1997 graduate of Central High School. He is a maintenance technician at Saint Francis.

A September wedding is planned.
