Vice president of Mac Con Company and ZanneCo Inc.
WHERE SHE'S BEEN: Stallion, 36, was born in Seoul, South Korea. She was adopted and moved to Fairbanks, Alaska. She now lives in Cape Girardeau, and is engaged to Jay Brewer. She has a dog, Abe, and Prada THE cat. She attended the Mississippi University for Women and is a partner with Keystone Design. And growing up in the construction business, she says, she also attended the school of hard knocks.
WHERE SHE'S GOING: "In five years I will have been working in the construction industry with my father for 18 years! I hope to start at least one more business and to have children without paws to add to my family. My career future plans have been the same simple plan since I started in this industry. Do the best I can every day, be smart enough to recognize what I do not know, learn it, teach it and try to smile! It makes everything easier!
On her work in the community: "We have so many organizations that are trying to accomplish the same positive outcomes but end up competing against each other for donations, resources and volunteers. I would like to help encourage organizations and potential organizations to stop reinventing the wheel for the sake of putting a new name on the same service. We are so blessed in this community to have so many people who want to give; I want the giving to make the maximum impact to those who need it."
WHY SHE WAS CHOSEN: "Nikki has been extremely involved in the community since I met her four years ago," wrote Kim Adams. "She has helped me become more involved in fundraisers and activities in the Cape Girardeau area. She is well connected and well versed in the community."
Nikki's community involvement: Current: La Croix United Methodist Church member and video director; MDA Lock Up volunteer; MS Advisory Council.
