Small Business course offered Sept. 4

PARK HILLs, Mo. — The Small Business Development Center of Southeast Missouri in Cape Girardeau will offer a free course on how to start a small business from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 4 in Park Hills. Offered on the campus of Mineral Area College, 5270 Flat River Road, the class will cover such topics as marketing, financing, legal issues and the basics of business ownership. Russell Humphrey, business consultant with the center, will teach the class. Tregistration is required and seating is limited. To reserve a space in the class, call 573-986-6084.
