Ribbon-cuttings to be held for pond renovation, community garden

Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce will host a pair of ribbon-cuttings this week.

• It will celebrate renovations to Capaha Park pond with a ribbon-cutting there at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30.
• There will also be a ribbon-cutting for Old Town Cape Community Garden at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, behind the Cape Riverfront Market lot at 35 S. Spanish St.
