Progress 2019: Saxony Village Retirement Community Celebrates 25 Years

Founded in 1972 as a group of local Lutheran churches’ response to the need for senior care in the area, the Lutheran Home still carries out this mission more than 45 years later. On approximately 37 acres within Cape city limits, the home is one of the most well-established, largest not-for-profit facilities offering skilled care at an affordable price in the Southeast Missouri region. With 440 employees and approximately 200 residents, thee Lutheran Home has one of the highest staff-to-patient ratios in the area, ensuring all residents receive a personal, home-like environment to live in with compassionate Christian care.

In addition, Saxony Village Retirement Community is celebrating 25 years of helping retirees live the life they’ve worked for.
