Dr. Shanon Kirchhoff and members of his staff, Beth Reimann, Regina Naeter, Melanie Baron and Laura Voss, attended the Human Identification from Dentition seminar, at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill., recently.
William M. Bass III, a forensic anthropologist at SIU, was guest speaker.
Bass is noted for his work on "The Body Farm" located at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, a facility established in the early 1970s to help the state medical examiner's office.
The Body Farm was designed to store forensic evidence and study crime scene elements.
