John Osborne, who has been with the Illinois Main Street program since July 1998, has been named interim coordinator of the state's program, which provided technical assistance and training in downtown revitalization to communities throughout the state.

Prior to joining the Illinois Main Street program, Osborne was a Main Street manger in Dunce, Okla., and Quanah, Texas.
Osborne will serve in the interim capacity until Illinois Main Street names a full-time coordinator.
