PERSONNEL: ACCOUNTANT ATTENDS BUSINESS SEMINAR

Lonnie Lusk, CPA, certified accounting applications specialist with Schott & Van de Ven, recently attended a continuing education course that focused on business accounting. Limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, partnerships, S corporations and C corporations were discussed.

The seminar covered new cases, regulations, rulings and tax consequences for each type of business. Fringe benefits, liquidations and shareholder/employee retirement completed the two-day training.

Lusk has been in public accounting since 1991. He is an authorized professional advisor for QuickBooks.
