Christine McReynolds, Steve Nenninger and Larry Hall have received promotions at Boatmen's Bank.

McReynolds of Jackson has been named assistant vice president in real estate, Nenninger will serve as agriculture loan officer, and Hall is new assistant vice president in commercial lending. All are located in the Boatmen's main bank at Jackson.

McReynolds' responsibilities in her new position include handling all aspects of residential lending and home equity loans.

McReynolds, a graduate of Northeast Missouri State University, is a native of Memphis, Mo. She joined Boatmen's in February of 1992. Prior to that she served as a vice president at Jackson Exchange Bank, from 1979 to 1992.

Hall of Jackson is responsible for managing all types of commercial loan activities. He has served as a commercial loan officer at Boatmen's since 1992. He previously held positions with Jackson Exchange Bank, Farm Credit Bank of St. Louis and First National Bank of Sikeston.

Hall is a graduate of Arkansas State University, and the University of Oklahoma Commercial Lending School.

Nenninger, a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration, joined Boatmen's Bank in April of 1992 as a part-time customer service associate while attending college. In 1993, he was promoted to the position of real estate administrative assistant.

James Rust, founder and president of Eagle One Inc., headquartered in Cape Girardeau, has been named to an Anheuser-Busch Wholesale Advisory Council.

The Council, comprised of 10 wholesalers from across the nation, meets four time a year with Eagle Snack executives and August Busch III.

Rust was appointed to the council for a three-year term.

Weldon Macke, president of Macke Farm Equipment Co. in Gordonville, has been appointed to the Guardian Advisory Council of the 12,000 member National Federation of Independent Business/Missouri (NFIB), the state's largest business advocacy group.

Macke Farm Equipment, founded in 1930, has 104 employees and serves farms in Southeast Missouri, Western Kentucky, Southern Illinois and Western Tennessee.

Key priorities for NFIB/Missouri in 1994 are passage of measures that further reform the state's workers' compensation system, and provide a voluntary framework for business to help address Missouri health care issues.

Howard Meagle, vice president and general manager at KFVS12, has been elected to the National Association for Broadcasters (NAB) Board of Directors.

Meagle has worked in radio and television about 30 years, 14 of them with AFLAC Broadcasters, parent company of KFVS12.

The NAB is the professional organization for broadcasters, representing television and radio stations across tahe country.

An article written by Gwen Thoma, director of Educational Services at Southeast Missouri Hospital, has been published in the January issue of "Nursing Management."

The article describes the evolution of Southeast Hospital's patient education program, which was established in 1985. "Many hospitals are now developing patient education programs and I felt that an article of this nature might help others in starting their programs," said Thoma.

Thoma is a doctoral student in curriculum and instruction at Memphis State University. She holds associate's and bachelor's degrees in nursing and a master's degree in administration from Southeast Missouri State University.

She joined Southeast Missouri Hospital in 1969.

Judy P. Snyder of Cape Girardeau has joined Commerce Bank of Southeast Missouri as regional investment specialist for the firm's Commerce Brokerage Services Inc.

Snyder's appointment was announced recently by Roger Tolliver, the bank's chairman, president and executive officer.

Snyder, who has 17 years of financial services experience, was previously a registered representative with Mercantile Investment Services in Cape Girardeau. Prior to that, she worked for two other financial institutions in the Cape Girardeau area.

In her new position, she will serve the Cape Girardeau, Jackson and Poplar Bluff areas.

Commerce Bank of Southeast Missouri is an affiliate of Commerce Bancshares Inc., a regional bank holding company with 160 locations in the Midwest.

Terry Lee Turner and Lisa Crane have joined KFVS12 as reporters and anchors for Heartland News, and Andrea Stephenson has been promoted to reporter/photographer.

Mike Beecher, news director, announced the appointments recently.

Turner, a graduate of Arkansas College in Batesville, has a degree in media arts. Prior to joining KFVS12, Turner worked as a news anchor for WMDT-TV at Salisbury, Md. Previously he was anchor/reporter with KFAA-TV in Rogers, Ark.

Crane, a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in broadcast journalism and minor in political science, previously worked at KEPR-TV in Kennewick, Wash., as news anchor. She had previously worked as reporter/assistant producer at WTVM-TV in Birmingham, Ala.

Stephenson has served as a production assistant at KFVS two years. She has also held position as disc jockey/newscaster for KGMO Radio in Cape Girardeau and as producer/director/photographer for Video Services at Southeast Missouri State University. She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in mass communications.

CHICAGO - Montgomery Ward & Co. has tapped Bernard W. Andrews, a top Circuit City executive, to become president and chief operating officer of the retail chain.

Andrews has been executive vice president of Circuit City Stores Inc. of Richmond, Va., since 1990. At Ward, he succeeds Harold Kahn, who left in December after 14 months as president.

Andrews was a Ward executive in the late 1980s when the privately held company transformed its outlets from old-line department stores into collections of specialty stores.
