Judy Aslin, director of Southeast Hospice, a service of Southeast Missouri Hospital, has completed requirements for certification as a Certified Nursing Administrator.
The certification process, offered through the American Nurses Association, included an extensive written examination.
Aslin, a member of the Southeast Missouri Hospital staff since 1983, has a bachelor's degree in nursing form Southeast Missouri State University and is pursuing her master's degree in nursing at Murray State University in Kentucky.
She recently received the Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary scholarship for graduate study in nursing.
She is a member of the Missouri Nurses Association, National Hospice Organization, Missouri Hospice Organization and Continuity of Care Association.
Peggy Boineau has joined the Hand Center Occupational Therapy Services of Southeast Missouri, 48 Doctors' Park in Cape Girardeau.
Boineau has been working in the occupational therapy field since 1986 and has specialized in hand therapy three years.
The Hand Center, a privately owned outpatient clinic, provides expertise in the rehabilitation of upper extremity injuries.
Jeanne Pruitt has joined D.J.'s Salon, 1020 N. Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau.
Pruitt has 20 years of experience as a hair stylist and is a graduate of Stage One The Hair School in Cape Girardeau.

Dr. Robert Kessinger, a specific chiropractor located at 1824 Kurre Lane in Cape Girardeau, recently attended the Kale International Convention in Asheville, N. C.
Kessinger, a member of the Kale Research Council and one of only eight "fellows" in the Kale Network, received "Instructor of the Year" honors during the convention.
Kessinger, the world coordinator of mission trips for the Kale Network, is a certified instructor in the Kale Upper Cervical Specific, a method developed by Dr. B. J. Palmer.
Barbara Ahlheit, a Cape Girardeau native, received the Excellence in Nursing Award for the Department of Veterans Affairs Southern Region.
Ahlheit is a pulmonary clinical nurse specialist at the Nashville VA Medical Center.
Ahlheit also serves as an instructor at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing at Nashville. She attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and received a nurse's degree from the University of Tennessee-Memphis.
Brian Coughlin, senior governmental affairs manager with British Petroleum, formerly Standard Oil Co., has been named president of Associated Industries of Missouri.
He succeeds Curt Long, who has served as Associated Industries' president for 25 years.
Coughlin, who has been with Standard Oil Co. since 1978, assumed his new duties Sept. 1.
Coughlin served as BP's chief Missouri lobbyist on a number of key issues and is familiar with AIM.
Associated Industries of Missouri is a 1,700-member business and industry association headquartered in Jefferson City.
Long will remain with AIM coordinating the association's political-action committee, Missouri Business United (MoBiz).
