What you wanted to be when you were a child: A pilot.

How you chose this career: After my career in the Air Force, I wanted a more stable lifestyle for my family, one that would not take me away from my family for an extended period of time. I also wanted a career that was secure and would offer flexibility around family activities. The business had blessed my father. It was a simple decision to work for a family-owned business that offered security and flexibility.

Biggest obstacle you've overcome and how: No big obstacles so far.

The best advice to someone new in your field: Be diligent, hard work backed with honesty and integrity.

Hobbies, interests: Family, biking, swimming, fishing, golf.

Accomplishments you're most proud of: 10 years of marriage to my wife, Tabatha. My two children, Lauren and Katelyn. Being a Christian. An F-16 fighter pilot with 32 combat missions in Operation Desert Storm.

Your secret ambition: To own my own airplane.
