Dan Querry has joined Big River Telephone as a database administrator. He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. Lauren Dirnberger has been promoted to marketing associate. Dirnberger started in 2007 and has been on both the front office and Customer Experience teams. Charlie Wallgren, who started in 2010, has been promoted to lead systems architect. Lauren Williams began in 2008 after earning a bachelors degrees from Southeast Missouri State. Williams originally started on the provisioning team. Her new position is business process analyst and technical writer.
Jill Dawson Miller has been hired as executive director for Cape Area Habitat for Humanity. Miller previously served on Habitat's board of directors and executive committee. Miller is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, currently a Ph.D. candidate in political science and an adjunct instructor of political science at Soutehast Missouri State University. Cape Area Habitat for Humanity is in its 26th year of operations, including its three-year-old ReStore.
Gina Robinson has joined BOLD Marketing, LLC as the finance director. She will manage office activities and maintain financial records for the company. BOLD Marketing is a strategic marketing, communications and design firm located in Cape Girardeau, Mo., and serves businesses, healthcare organizations and non-profit groups.
Carolyn Kempf, owner of Elite Travel in Cape Girardeau, was named one of the Top 25 Travel Advisors of 2011 in an article published in the August 22 issue of Travel Agent Magazine. Kempf, who specalizes in trips to Mexico and the Caribean, and destination weddings founded Elite Travel in 1992.
