Harris named para vice president of MOA; Volkerding is Woodmen agent of the month
Harris named para vice president of MOA
Cherie Harris, an 11-year employee of Leet Eye Care in Cape Girardeau has been named the Missouri Optometric Association's para vice president. Harris is a certified national contact lens examiner and a certified paraoptometric assistant. Harris is Southeast Missouri's trustee on the association's paraoptometric board. Paraoptometrics assist optometrists in the delivery of eye care services.

Volkerding is Woodmen agent of the month
Ken Volkerding of Jackson, a district representative with Modern Woodmen of America, was agent of the month in the Allen Phillips' District for August. Volkerding has been with Modern Woodmen since November 2004.
