Gladue joins Saint Francis' education center

Saint Francis Medical Center has hired Marie T. Gladue for its newly created position of director of training and development in the education center. In this role, Gladue will be responsible for the overall management, design, development and delivery of enterprise learning for Saint Francis. She reports to Wayne Smith, vice president, development and administrative services. Gladue has an extensive background in human resources, training and organizational development, with more than 12 years at executive and management levels. Most recently she worked as a gap analyst for her own company, Bridge The Gap Now. Before that she was the executive director of organizational planning and development at the University of California-Los Angeles in External Affairs. She also served as assistant vice president of organizational development at Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Manhattan Beach, Calif.; regional trainer for PitneyBowes Management Services, Los Angeles; and director of quality assurance at the Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, Calif. Gladue received her bachelor of arts in international studies from The American University School of International Service, Washington, D.C., and her Master of Science in training and development from Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia. She earned a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University, Malibu, Calif. Gladue is certified as a professional in human resources and senior professional in human resources and has been an instructor with the University of Phoenix since 2001.

McClanahan to serve as CRS regional vice president

Jan McClanahan, broker and agent at Coldwell Banker Abernathy Realty in Cape Girardeau has been appointed regional vice president for Region One of the Certified Residential Specialists for 2010-2011. Region One includes the states of Maine, Massachusetts and Connecticut. McClanahan will attend leadership training in September in Phoenix. McClanahan has been a real estate agent for 20 years and is past president of the Missouri Certified Residential Specialists Chapter. She is a member of the Jackson Kiwanis Club and the LaCroix United Methodist Church. The Council of Residential Specialists is a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.

Two local lawyers elected to bar boards

John Grimm was elected to The Missouri Bar Board of Governors. Grimm practices with The Limbaugh Firm. Michael Gardner, who practices with the firm of Osbourn, Hine, Yates & Murphy LLC, was elected to the Young Lawyers Section Council.
