Southeast Missouri Food Bank has added two new faces to its staff, Amanda Winschel and Holly Lintner. Winschel now serves as the agency and programs assistant at the food bank. She brings a vast knowledge of graphic and web page design, as well as experience working with not-for-profit member agencies. Winschel previously worked at the United Way of Southeast Missouri as office manager. Lintner is currently working as a consultant with the food bank as public relations and development director. She will focus on increasing the community's awareness of the many services and programs offered by the food bank, in addition to helping identify additional development opportunities. Lintner served as United Way of Southeast Missouri's development director for 5 years before leaving the organization in May. The Southeast Missouri Food Bank also is adding Kurt Batz of Cape Girardeau to its board of directors. Batz is the office manager of Coca-Cola Enterprises of Jackson.
Sabreliner Corp. has appointed three new vice presidents to its management team. Tracy Ogle was promoted to vice president of rotary-wing programs; Pat Quinn was named vice president and program manager of government fixed-wing aircraft programs, and Jerry Wade was appointed vice president of ethics and compliance. Each has served in various capacities with the aviation services provider. Ogle, who holds an Airframe and Powerplant license and is an FAA-designated inspection authority, joined Sabreliner in 2006 after serving with the U.S. Army for which he managed fleets of aircraft, including VH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. Quinn, an aerospace engineer, first joined Sabreliner in 1997 as a program manager and later served as director of engineering and director of certification for Midcoast Aviation. He rejoined Sabreliner last year as senior director of engineering and flight operations. Wade, a 29-year Sabreliner veteran, continues to oversee company facilities. At various times during his Sabreliner career he directed flight operations, engineering, planning and product integrity functions. Sabreliner Corp. has maintenance, manufacturing, processing and repair facilities at three service locations in Missouri and one in Kansas. Its headquarters are in St. Louis.
Scottrade, a leading branch-supported online investing firm, will open a new branch office July 26 in Cape Girardeau managed by Michelle Best. Scottrade has 475 branches nationwide. The office will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with after-hours support from 6 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. "Investors who live and work Cape Girardeau now have a convenient location to learn more about investing online," said Best, who has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. "Investors can have questions answered about their online brokerage account or learn more about how to use Scottrade's trading tools when they visit the new office." The new Scottrade office is on William Street in front of West Park Mall.
Debbie Atchison has joined The Venue as director of events. She has more than 20 years experience in public relations, sales and management. Before joining The Venue, Atchison was the Southeast Missouri Division director for the March of Dimes, where she organized and managed all activities in the division including program projects, fundraising, committee and board functions, communications and community services within the southeast division of the chapter. She has been a member of the Cape Girardeau Board of Realtors, and Missouri High School Rodeo board of directors. She resides in Jackson with her husband Clint.
Carolyn Kempf, president and CEO of Elite Travel Inc., recently completed the Certified Sandals Specialist 2010 Workshop. The workshop focused on product updates and enhancements to the Sandals brands.
