Pauline Arnold has been appointed executive director for quality management at SoutheastHEALTH. Arnold worked for 11 years for the Indiana University Health La Porte and Starke Hospitals in La Porte, Indiana, most recently as chief nursing and quality officer and vice president of clinical operations, according to a media release. She has experience in implementing quality and safety initatives for patients, as well as regulatory and accreditation compliance from major accrediting organizations. Her undergraduate degree in nursing is from Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana, and her master's degree in science administration is from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. She holds a master's degree of science in nursing from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

JCPenney Styling Salon in Cape Girardeau has welcomed Sarah McConnell, Kaylee Edmonds, Jessica Blackwell and Jill Coleman to its staff. McConnell specializes in men's services and worked at Sport Clips in Cape Girardeau. Edmonds, who worked at Master Cuts inside the West Park Mall, focuses on color, highlights, dimensional color and haircuts. Blackwell, formerly of JCPenney in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, specializes in color services, hair extensions and synthetic dreadlocks. Coleman worked at JCPenney Styling Salon and specializes in nail extensions, manicures, pedicures and other esthetic services.

Gretchen E. Price and Michael S. Flaim, a married couple, have joined Saint Francis Medical Center as hospitalists. Price specializes in critical care, hospice and end-of-life care, bariatrics, weight management and working with families, according to a news release. Flaim's areas of interest include preventive medicine, critical care, infectious diseases and bedside ultrasound. They earned their medical degrees from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.

Abbie Jo Vander Bol, who coordinates and supports all activities in and by the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, has been nomiated to the inaugural 30|Under|30 Class of 2015, a program of the International Association of Venue Managers. She has worked at the center for 11 years, since her freshman year at Southeast Missouri State University. She will be honored at an awards luncheon Aug. 3 in Baltimore.
