Southeast professor named to Who's Who

Dr. David A. Smallwood of Cape Girardeau has been named to 2007 Marquis Who's Who in America and the 2007 Cambridge Who's Who Registry of Executives and Professionals. Smallwood is an assistant professor of Spanish and middle and secondary education at Southeast Missouri State University.

Havco Wood names vice president of sales

Bruce Bader, president of Havco Wood Products, has announced that Larry Wiggs has been promoted to vice president of sales. Wiggs was formerly the sales manager for Havco. Before joining Havco in 1984, Wiggs spent nine years as a sales manager for Gideon-Anderson Lumber Co. Havco is the trucking industry's leading provider of laminated oak trailer floors, with manufacturing facilities located in Vonore, Tenn., and Cape Girardeau.

New message therapist at Jus Teasin'

Joan Dambach, a licensed massage therapist, has joined the staff at Jus Teasin' hair and nail salon on 2532 William St. in Cape Girardeau. Dambach specializes in Swedish massage, hot stone massage, reflexology, sports massage, infant massage and aromatherapy.

Jackson woman earns sales honor

Lia sophia recently announced top honors for its Excellent Beginnings Program Achievers for their sales accomplishments and professionalism. Cindy Seyer of Jackson has earned the honor in her first 15 weeks in the fashion jewelry business.
