Cape Girardeau obstetrician and gynecologist Dianne S. Woolard, MD, will open a new practice in April in partnership with the Southeast Medical Group. The practice, Southeast Obstetrics & Gynecology, will be in the Southeast Medical Plaza, 1723 Broadway, Suite 315. The practice will open April 4. Nurse practitioners Christy Cook and Glenda Robison will join Woolard. All three providers have been associated with Cape Care for Women. A number of the office staff members also will be moving over to Southeast Obstetrics & Gynecology to serve in office support roles. The practice will be a companion to the OB and post-surgical care units at Southeast Hospital as well as the services provided by the Breast Care and Diagnostic Center.
Everett Cassady, formerly assistant vice president and loan officer at First State Community Bank, has been named vice president of the Cape Girardeau branch. David Pruesser has joined the staff a First State Community Bank in Cape Girardeau as commercial loan officer. Pruesser joined First State Community Bank in October and has seven years of experience with commercial banking.
Tami Nenninger recently joined Stan Irwin's Edward Jones financial services as a branch office administrator. She responsible for the daily operation of the branch, client service and marketing support including processing client trade transactions, providing clients with receipts for money and securities, and assisting in the planning of seminars and special promotions. Stan Irwin's branch office is at 839 N. Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau.
Eric Ticer has been named assistant manager of emergency services at Saint Francis Medical Center. He will report to Marcia Abernathy, director of the Gene E. Huckstep Emergency and Trauma Center. Ticer joined the Medical Center in 2002 after graduating from Southeast Missouri State University. After a year in the Progressive Care Unit, he transferred to Emergency Services in 2003. He completed his trauma nursing core curriculum in 2003.
Scott Golden was recently promoted to street maintenance worker II in the City of Cape Girardeau. Golden has been a Public Works Department employee since March 2001. Rusty Statler transferred from the Wastewater Treatment Plant as a wastewater operator/truck driver to the Water Division in the position of field maintenance mechanic. He has been a city employee since May 2007, when he was hired as a street maintenance worker.
Dr. Anthony J. Keele has added Dr. C. Adam Swafford and physician assistant Ashley VanZant to his anti-aging medicine practice. Swafford is a board-certified physician, a competitive body builder and 2008 National Physique Committee Mr. Oklahoma. The medical group focuses on optimizing body composition, energy, and brain and sexual function through nutrition, exercise, and bio-identical hormones. They specialize in weight loss, the medical care of weightlifters and competitive athletes, Lipo B injections as well as treatment for chronic fatigue and male and female sexual dysfunction. The practice is at 1417 N. Mount Auburn Road.
Michelle Best has been promoted to manage Scottrade's Cape Girardeau branch office at 3019 William St. The branch opened in July. Best is responsible for managing personnel, providing personalized customer service and educating investors about Scottrade's online trading services. Best has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. She previously served as a stock broker in Scottrade's Columbia branch office. With more than 500 branch offices nationwide, Scottrade has the largest branch network in the country among online brokerage firms.
Cape Care for Women is Saint Francis Medical Center's newest medical partner. The 15-year-old practice includes obstetricians/gynecologists Dr. Ann E. Behrend-Uhls, Dr. Wendi M. Carns, Dr. Jessica H. Lemmons and Dr. Jacob P. Pyeatte Jr. as well as many other support staff. All four physicians hold the Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists specialist certification.
