Meyer celebrates 50th year in real estate

Rupert C. Meyer of Exit Realty–Thomas Meyer Associates recently celebrated his 50th anniversary in real estate. Past honors include Missouri salesman of the year in 1964 and Cape Girardeau County Realtor of the Year in 1973. He has served as president of the Multiple Listing Service board of directors, secretary treasurer of the Cape Girardeau County Board of Realtors, state associate director of Missouri Association of Realtors and vice president of the Lions Club. Meyer and his wife, Helen, have been married for more than 50 years and have three children and 11 grandchildren. Meyer is a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and the Lions Club.

Heisserer now administrator at Chaffee Nursing Center

Chaffee Nursing Center has named Gail Heisserer its administrator. Heisserer has more than 15 years of experience in the long-term care industry, most recently at WestRidge Place in Sikeston, Mo.
