Jessica Hanna, a registered nurse, has been named patient care manager of inpatient rehabilitation services at Saint Francis Medical Center. She will report to Gerry Salter, service line director for orthopedics. Before joining Saint Francis, Hanna spent three years at University of Missouri HealthCare in Columbia, Mo. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She currently is pursuing a master's degree in nursing with an emphasis in leadership and management in nursing and health care systems through the University of Missouri-Columbia. Hanna is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses.
Shon Bauer has been named assistant vice president and product development manager for Capaha Bank.
He joined Capaha Bank in June 2005 as manager of the bank's Anna, Ill., branch. He was promoted to assistant vice president in December 2006. In his new role, Bauer will be responsible for design, development and marketing for new banking products. Bauer is a native of Anna and a 1999 graduate of the University of Illinois, where he earned a bachelor's degree in economics.
Dr. James Stapleton, executive director of the Douglas C. Greene Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and assistant professor of management at Southeast Missouri State University, was recently appointed to the Mississippi Delta Grassroots Caucus Executive Advisory Committee. The Mississippi Delta Grassroots Caucus is dedicated to promoting economic development in the eight-state Delta region which includes Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Alabama and Missouri.
Cape Area Personnel Association recently selected new officers for 2011. They are: Cathi Schlosser of Alliance Bank, president; Lori Meyer of City of Cape Girardeau, president-elect; Jason Bandermann of Saint Francis Medical Center, past president; Lisa Rouse of BioKyowa, secretary; and Lynda Wahlers of Citizens Electric, treasurer. The association for individuals with work-related interests in the field of human resources includes owners, administrators, supervisors, educators, recruiting specialists, benefits specialists, students and retirees. Its' focus is to provide educational and networking opportunities to its members to enhance the development of Human Resource Professionals in Cape Girardeau and the surrounding region.
