Real estate companies hire new agents
Divine Homes Realty and Commercial Real Estate Specialist Inc. announced the addition of two new agents. Jane Perry is a licensed real estate agent for Divine Homes. She is also chief operating officer of Buellis Construction, a builder of custom homes. Brandon Farmer has joined the staff of Commercial Real Estate Specialist Inc. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Farmer is also a reserve officer with the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
Association recognizes nine area employees
The Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri recognized nine employees in various phases of its operations during an awards banquet recently. The honorees include: Home health aide Jeanie Selby of Wappapello, winner of the Jackson L. Burke Excellence in Home Care Award; quality assurance director Pat Huttegger of Cape Girardeau, winner of the Warren Manning Commitment to Service Award; and board member Roger Jespersen of Charleston, winner of the Layton Pickard Memorial Award. Several workers received employee of the year award in their fields, including VNA employee of the year Kim Laub of Sikeston; VNA home health employee of the year Amy Mannign of Qulin; VNA home health nurse of the year Pam Hampton of New Madrid; and therapist of the year Brian Land of Jackson; VNA hospice employee of the year Apryl Craft; and VNA home medical equipment employee of the year Elana Miller.
Modern Woodmen rep was membership leader
Kasey Mathes-Klughart of Benton, Mo., a district representative with Modern Woodmen of America, was membership leader in the Missouri East Agency for November. Mathes-Klughart joined the Woodmen Rainwater agency in November 2006.
Salon owner, esthtician complete training course
Danea Johnson, owner of Concepts Styling Salon in Cape Girardeau, announced she has completed extensive training on Bare Escentuals Cosmetics and md Formulations skincare in Chicago along with esthtician Jessie Eck.
