Marshall S. Grillo Jr., DO, has joined Saint Francis Medical Center's Heart Hospital team of physicians that perform vascular and endovascular procedures. Grillo also is a medical partner at Cape Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery. He hails from Michigan and has a medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, according to a news release from Saint Francis.
His general surgeries were completed in at hospitals in Michigan and New Jersey, and he has completed a fellowship in vascular surgery.
Grillo has extensive clinical experience, according to Saint Francis, in procedures for diseases of the heart, lungs, chest cavity and blood vessels.
Nicholas Burger has been named vice president and relationship manager for Commerce Bank in the Cape Girardeau and Jackson area.
He will be responsible for business development and relationship management related to the bank's line of banking, borrowing and treasury management solutions for commercial clients, according to a news release.
Burger earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University and has five years of commercial and agricultural banking experience.
