Real estate agent to be presenter at conference

Jane Clark of Century 21 Key Realty in Cape Girardeau has been invited by the Century 21 Greater St. Louis Brokers Council to be a presenter on The Top Agent Panel at the company's fall conference. She was chosen from more than 3,500 associates for her outstanding performance at the Centurion level.

Local accountants attend convention

Local Kirby operator wins cup for hitting goal

Jeff Emmenderfer, who operates a Kirby distributorship of home care systems in Cape Girardeau, recently earned a championship winner's cup from the Kirby Co. The prize is part of a yearlong promotion in which distributors win prizes and trips for reaching their business goals.

Ex-Notre Dame teacher hired at learning center

Sylvan Learning Center recently hired Nichole Buehrle as progress manager. In this position, Buehrle will be responsible for assuring the progress of each student. She had previously taught at Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau.

AIG names new manager to mentor advisers

AIG VALIC recently appointed James A. Murphy Jr. manager for its Missouri and Southern Illinois district. His new responsibilities include managing and mentoring financial advisers in that district.
