Saint Francis Healthcare System announced orthopedic surgeon Dr. Khalid Waliullah as a new Saint Francis medical partner. He joins six other orthopedic surgeons at Advanced Orthopedic Specialists.
Waliullah's clinical interests include hip and knee replacement, minimally invasive shoulder and knee arthroscopy, sports medicine and general joint care. He received his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, Georgia, and his orthopedic residency and internship at the Missouri Orthopedic Institute at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia.
"We welcome Dr. Waliullah to the system," Steven C. Bjelich, president and CEO of Saint Francis Healthcare System said in a news release. "His orthopedic training, education and knowledge will help move our orthopedic offerings forward."

Robinson Construction Co. announced two new members of its Perryville, Missouri, team.
Aaron Miles has joined the company as an estimator, a job title he held with Helmkamp Construction. In his new position, Miles will prepare cost estimates and complete the bidding documents for projects Robinson pursues. Miles has nearly 10 years' experience in estimating and managing construction projects in the heavy industrial, process, manufacturing, health-care, private higher education and commercial sectors. He earned a bachelor's degree in construction management from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.
Jared Hotop joined as an accounting assistant. Hotop will assist the payroll and accounting departments with day-to-day transactions. Jared is from Perryville and attended Southeast Missouri State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting major. Previously, Hotop was an office manager at Bening Motor Co.

SoutheastHEALTH announced Jennifer Deschenes as the new director of central sterile and GI services at Southeast Hospital. She has served as GI services manager since October 2014.
Deschenes received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is working toward a master's degree in health-care management with an emphasis in administration. She also holds surgical-scrub tech certification.
Deschenes also has worked in patient Registration, cardiac progress care, information technology and as a neurosurgical scrub tech and implant/inventory coordinator at Southeast Hospital.
