Stephen D. Rothert, MD, has been appointed as medical director of emergency services at Saint Francis Medical Center. Rothert joined Saint Francis in 2004. He earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois, and holds a law degree from Southern Illinois University.

Jeremy Baird, DO, accepted the position of emergency services medical director at SoutheastHEALTH. Baird received his degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He has been affiliated with SoutheastHEALTH since 2013.

Mark Scholl

Kohlfield Distributing Inc. announced Mark Scholl as its new import, craft and specialty beer portfolio manager. Originally from Frohna, Missouri, Scholl graduated from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, and has been in the beer industry since 2007. Most recently, he was District Manager-II with Anheuser-Busch/InBev in Arkansas and Oklahoma. Scholl brings a diverse beer-industry background to the Kohlfield team.

Brian Steele has been named the business development manager for Van Matre Motor Co. He will be primarily responsible for the dealer's online presence, marketing and customer relations. He brings several years of automotive experience to the team and will help oversee all aspects of the dealership's operation.

Isle of Capri Casinos has announced president and executive officer Virginia McDowell will retire effective April 27. Eric Hausler, Isle of Capri's chief financial officer, will become CEO, and Arnold Block, Isle of Capri's CEO, will become president of the company.
