Financial planner earns estate certificate

John H. Wolpers has earned a certificate in estate planning and taxation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Penn. To receive the certificate, Wolpers, a certified financial planner, completed graduate-level courses in the college's curriculum for a master's degree in financial services. Wolpers also is a certified fund specialist and a chartered retirement planning counselor with Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. in Cape Girardeau.

UPS employee honored for 35 years of service

Paul Wibbenmeyer of Jackson was recently honored by UPS for completing 35 years of service with the company. Wibbenmeyer, who is a service provider/driver with UPS in Cape Girardeau, was recognized for his service contributions. Wibbenmeyer began his career in 1971 as a unloader with the company.
