Show Me Center hires marketing director
Shannon Buford, a 2002 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, was recently hired as the marketing director of the Show Me Center. He is responsible for event solicitation, advertising sales and sponsorships, group sales and event promotion. Buford began his duties July 24. Buford previously served as the Southeast Missouri director for the American Heart Association in St. Louis. Most recently, Buford finished an internship with the Show Me Center as the marketing assistant. During this time, he was responsible for assisting the former marketing director in varying capacities including: advertising sales, publicity, developing marketing plans and advertising reconciliations, acting as facility liaison to the media, distributing marketing material, and supervising staff during events.
The following employees have relocated from the recently closed Eugene's Total Care Salon and Spa to Just Teasin', 2532 William St. in Cape Girardeau: Heather Schoolfield, Christie Lind, Lori Hafele, Laura Richards, Lauren Bullinger, Nicole Landgraf and Lyndsey Kielas. An open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Just Teasin'. The employees say they will be unable to redeem outstanding gift certificates issued by Eugene's Salon.
First State Community Bank in Cape Girardeau announces the addition of Everett Cassady as a mortgage loan officer. He is experienced in sales management and mortgage lending. Cassady attended Southeast Missouri State University. First State Community Bank is owned and operated by First State Bancshares Inc., a financial services holding company with $683 million in total assets based in Farmington, Mo.
Future executive senior sales director Jana Jateff and her unit recently returned from Dallas, Texas, where they attended the Mary Kay Cosmetics seminar. Jateff was presented the keys to her 14th free car and a diamond ring for being in the National Queens Court of Sales. Members of her unit who attended were Sarah Arthur of Louisiana, Amy Cairns, Amy Romack, Kim Proffer and Sarah Dodson of Cape Girardeau; Lisa Bollinger of Jackson; and Tina Ashby of Scott City.
