Chamber hires Schlosser as membership director
The Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce has hired Cathi Schlosser as its new director of membership development. Schlosser comes to the position as an accomplished membership recruiter. For six straight years (1996-2001) she won the Go-Getter Award, which is awarded to the member of the Chamber Ambassadors Committee who scores the most points throughout a calendar year. The committee members score points for signing up new members and attending Chamber events as well as other activities.
Schlosser replaces Jeff Glenn, who left to join Sen. Jim Talent's office.

Mary Kay consultants honored for sales
Mary Kay senior sales director Jana Jateff of Cape Girardeau recently announced the top sales performers for the quarter. Top performers in this area include: Kim Schott of Jackson, Amy Cairns of Cape Girardeau, Tina Tidwell of Scott City and Sherry Campbell of Patton, Mo. Jateff also was a top performer.
They will be honored in Sikeston, Mo., at an areawide event.
