Janet Floyd of Cape Girardeau was recently named assistant vice president for Commerce Bank. She's currently group sales manager for the Cape Girardeau Banking Center.
Quarter's top performers for Mary Kay honored
Future executive senior sales director Jana Jateff of Cape Girardeau recently announced her top performers for completing Star Consultant status for the previous quarter -- Amy Cairns, Amy Romack, Amanda Becker and Mary Grosemeyer of Cape Girardeau; Whitney Whitten and Berneice West of Sikeston; Leslie Walker and Ashley Seabaugh of Jackson; Brandi Voelker of Gordonville; Tina Tidwell Ashby of Scott City; and Carol Gray of Marble Hill.
Jackson man receives top producer awards
Rick Shultz of Jackson recently attended Maintenance Engineering's National Awards Banquet in Fargo, N.D. At the banquet, Shultz received a second diamond in his M.E. gold ring for sales exceeding $1 million. He was also named 14th in national field sales. He reached the Silver sales level for the second time in three years.
SEMO business center honored for performance
The Small Business Development Center at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau was recently recognized by the Missouri Business Development Program of the University of Missouri for outstanding performance in helping its small business clients acquire financing for their business. Receiving the honor were director Buz Sutherland, administrative assistant Karen Carr, training coordinator Bill Vickery and senior business consultant Larry Cooper.
HealthPoint names membership manager
Debra Otto has assumed duties as membership services manager for HealthPoint Fitness, Southeast Missouri Hospital's new fitness and rehabilitation center. She was formerly sales and marketing director of Panorama Tours in Cape Girardeau.
Executive director named for Life Care Center
Michael Hammond has recently been named executive director at Life Care Center of Cape Girardeau. He is a liscensed administrator who's worked for Life Care for the past five years. Life Care Centers of America assumed management of the Life Care Center of Cape Girardeau from Beverly Healthcare in 2002.
UPS honors Jackson man for years of service
Leabert Fields of Jackson was recently honored for completing 20 years of service with UPS. He is a hub worker for the UPS facility in Cape Girardeau.
Physician reaches fellowship status
Southeast Missouri Hospital emergency services physician Richard E. Draper has been inducted as a fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians. Draper has been on the hospital staff since 1995.
Local golf teacher passes test in Florida
Sabrina Tate, Ladies Professional Golf Association teaching and club professional for the Cape Girardeau Jaycee Municipal Golf Course, recently passed her class B written test and practical teaching evaluation in Daytona, Fla. She has also taken on the office of Midwest Section marketing coordinator for the LPGA. Tate's been the club pro at the Cape Girardeau Jaycee Golf Course for nine years.
Jefferson teacher gets American Legion honor
Russell Grammer was recently honored as American Legion Post 63 Teacher of the Year. Grammer is a fourth-grade teacher at Jefferson Elementary School.
