Cross Trails Medical Center has announced that Georgia Gremillion, family nurse practitioner, has joined the practice at 408 S. Broadview St. in Cape Girardeau. Gremillion holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, Walter Reed Army Institute of Nursing, and a master's degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Gremillion has more than 10 years' experience as a family nurse practitioner, with a special interest in asthma care.
Stephen Slaten of Cape Girardeau recently completed the National Association of Safety Professionals' certified safety administrator program. The program includes classroom and independent study courses with certification following a written exam and demonstrated performance. Slaten has 29 years of engineering and manufacturing experience with Procter & Gamble, and is currently providing workers' compensation and safety consultation services through Kirk Consulting.
The Bankruptcy Practice Fund for the Eastern District of Missouri recently honored Paul H. Berens, a lawyer with Bradshaw, Steele, Cochrane and Berens of Cape Girardeau, in a ceremony held at the Thomas F. Eagleton Federal Court House in St. Louis for his service as chairman of the fund. The fund assists the court and the practitioners in the bankruptcy system. In attendance were all three federal bankruptcy judges and one retired judge together with bankruptcy bar representatives for the eastern half of Missouri.
Jane Clark, a sales associate with Century 21 Key Realty, recently earned the Century 21 System's Centurion Producer Award following her continuous sales success. This is the highest recognition award for performance awarded to agents. Clark was the highest producer in the Century 21 System in Cape Girardeau County in gross closed commissions. She did in excess of $9.1 million in sales volume for 2004. Clark is a member of the Centurion Honor Society, which recognizes the Centurion level sales production for a minimum of five years.
Realty Executives of Cape Girardeau recently announced several awards given to its sales associates as well as new sales associates for its Jackson office. Terri Penrod and Deb and Jeff Martin received the Executive Club Award at Realty Executives International's 18th annual national convention in Orlando, Fla. The award is given to the top 10 percent of agents in each franchise based on annual earnings. Susan Cole, Bill Cole, Michelle Doughten, Lori Friese and Tanya Yantis also attended the convention in February, along with 600 other attendees from across the country. Realty Executives also announced that since the Jackson office opened in October, Doughten, Amy Jones, Friese, Sheila Carlton, Deborah Jennings and Kelly Lacy have joined the company's Jackson office at 510 W. Main St.
