Prudential agents nab awards at Florida meeting
Several Prudential Bridgeport Inc. real estate agents went home from the Prudential 2004 sales convention in Miami Beach, Fla., with awards. Betty Lou and Don Vogel earned the President's Circle by finishing 2003 in the top 5 percent of all sales professionals within the Prudential Real Estate Network. July Miller, Pamela Arnold and Ricki Ing finished in the top 7 percent, taking the Leading Edge Society award. Jo Duff, Debbie Joplin and Wendy Marberry finished in the top 10 percent, earning the Honor Society Award.
RE/MAX associates receive sales honors
Three real estate sales associates with RE/MAX Achievers in Cape Girardeau were recently honored by RE/MAX International. Cynthia F. Austin and Kerry Johnson both received the 100 Percent Club Award. Karen Lewis received the Executive Club Award. All awards were based on commissions earned in 2003. Austin has been with the company for over nine years. Johnson and Lewis have been with the company for four years.
Agent wins American Family Insurance award
Janey Foust of American Family Insurance in Jackson received the Life Diamond Award for 2003. The award was given to only three other agents in Foust's district. Foust also was named agent of the month for February.
Jackson woman named to state respiratory board
Gov. Bob Holden recently announced that Cindy Seyer of Jackson has been appointed to the Missouri Board for Respiratory Care. She is currently director of respiratory care services at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. The Missouri Board for Respiratory Care regulates professional conduct, education requirements and programs and ethical standards of practice for those licensed to practice respiratory care in Missouri.
Birk shows reserve champion Angus bull
Logan Birk of Cape Girardeau consigned the Division 4 reserve champion bull at the 2004 Missouri Angus Breeders' Futurity Show and Sale. The event took place on Feb. 28 and 29 in Columbia, Mo. There were 42 bulls shown.
Agent to be inducted into Ambassadors for Life Club
State Farm agent Dale Gilliland of Cape Girardeau has qualified for one of State Farm's most prestigious awards, the Ambassadors for Life Club. Gilliland will receive special recognition and an award in April. He is one of only eight State Farm agents in Southeast Missouri to qualify for the award. This is the third time in as many years as a State Farm agent he has received the award.
