Alliance Bank in Cape names president
Alliance Bank has added Cord A. Polen to its management staff. Polen assumed the position of president for the bank March 6. He is working out of the main office at 217 N. Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau. Polen most recently served as market president and chief lending officer of US Bank in Cape Girardeau. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Alliance Bank. Bryan E. Pogue will remain the chief executive officer for Alliance Bank and the president of Alliance Bancshares Inc.
Red Letter Communications has announced the addition of Marvin Johnson as creative director. Johnson will work with Jim Riley, CEO and chief creative officer of the 26-year-old marketing communications agency, to shape and define the company's creative output. Most recently, Johnson was a partner at Wildhorse Creative in St. Louis. Separately, Red Letter announced that both Cindy Gage and Bruce Robert have become partners at Red Letter. Robert will also be vice president.
Century 21 has inducted Jane Clark, sales associate with Century 21 Key Realty, into the company's International Hall of Fame. Clark is one of only 37 members in the hall of fame. She also received her 10th Centurion award representing extremely high production, which for 2005 was $11.6 million.
Richard A. Phillips of Cape Girardeau, a Modern Woodmen of America district manager, recently attended the first Leadership Career Institute at the company's home office in Rock Island, Ill. Agency and district managers were invited to attend the institute, which is designed to motivate attendees as leaders and exchange management practices with peers.
