ERA Cape Realty adds new associate to team
ERA Cape Realty recently announced the addition of Jeff Jernigan to its team of real estate sales professionals serving consumers in the Cape Girardeau area.
Jernigan, originally from the Dallas and Wichita Falls, Texas, areas, has lived in Cape Girardeau for seven years. He is married to Nancy Jernigan and has three children, Patrick, Jeremy and Jenna.
As part of ERA Cape Realty, Jernigan will be able to offer homebuyers and sellers a variety of products and services including online listings, home warranty plans, the ERA Sellers Security Plan.
ERA Cape Realty is a local leader in the residential real estate industry with more than 40 years serving the Cape Girardeau area.
CEO elected chairman of state banking group
Troy L. Wilson, president and CEO of Sikeston, Mo.-based First National Bank, has been elected as chairman of the Missouri Bankers Association. First National Bank has a branch in Cape Girardeau.
Wilson is one of a slate of officers who will be presented to the MBA Board of Directors at its annual meeting in April. As the chairman-elect, Wilson will serve a three-year term on the executive committee of the MBA Board of Directors. The year 2003-3004 will be spent as chairman-elect, 2004-2005 as chairman and 2005-2006 as the immediate past chairman.
Truck driving school announces recent grads
Southern Missouri Truck Driving School recently announced the completion of graduation of Gene Garris from the four-week tractor trailer driving course. Garris graduated on Jan. 24. Garris has been a long-time resident of Cape Girardeau.
