NEW ON THE BUSINESS SCENE: NEW WAREHOUSE FACILITY

Missouri Box will open a new warehouse facility at Perryville this month.

The company will provide packaging for TG (USA) in Perryville.

Initially, manufacturing of packaging will be from Tennessee Corrugate Box Co., at Humboldt, Tenn.

Tennessee Corrugated Box and Missouri Box are both divisions of Visy Industries Inc., headquartered at Conyers, Ga.

Visy Industries with world headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, has more than 20 facilities in the Southeast U.S., all involving corrugated packaging.

Missouri Box is leasing a speculation building in Perryville Industrial Park.

The spec building was constructed by the Perry County Industrial Development Authority and the Perryville Development Corporation.

"We are excited about our partnership in packaging with TG (USA), and an opportunity to become a part of the Perryville industrial area," said R. M. "Bob" Graning, general manager of Missouri Box and Tennessee Corrugated Box.

A small work force will be hired for the Perryville Center.
