NEW ON THE BUSINESS SCENE: NEW COMIC STORE OWNERS, NEW NAME

"Mo Better Comics" has a new name and new owners.

Ken and Deneke' Murphy of Cape Girardeau have purchased the full-service comic book and specialty shop at 1030 Broadway and changed the name to "Marvels & Legends."

The new business, which buys, sells and trades comics, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Andrew Johnson had operated the store since 1988 when he turned a hobby into a business.
