Finch, Bradshaw, Strom & Steele, L.C., 3113 Independence, has changed its name to Bradshaw, Steele, Cochrane & Berens, L.C.
The firm was established during the 1920s and is one of the oldest law firms in the area. Founders of the firm included Lehman Finch and James A. Finch, a former judge of the Missouri Supreme Court. Stephen E. Strom, longtime member of the firm, recently retired.
Members of the firm now include John P. Bradshaw, Richard G. Steele, James A. Cochrane III, Paul H. Berens, Daniel P. Finch, Dale E. Gerecke and Craig M. Billmeyer.
Matthew M. Mocherman and Stephen C. Christiansen are associate attorneys in the firm.
The firm engages in general civil trial and appellate practice in all state and federal courts. The firm handles a variety of civil matters, including corporate law, insurance defense, workers' compensation, real estate law, probate matters, domestic relations matters, bankruptcy and creditors' rights law.
