NEW ON THE BUSINESS SCENE: AUTO TIRE & PARTS OPENS ITS 19TH STORE

The newest operation of the Cape Girardeau-based supplier of automotive, truck and agricultural parts, is at 128 Mine La Motte Road in Fredericktown.

Darryl Asher, who has more than 30 years of auto parts experience, is manager of the new store.

The company, which also provides paint and body shop supplies, operates stores in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois. The company also operates a machine shop, which handles everything from block-and-head work to crankshafts of all types of balancing services.

"The combination of twice-a-day delivery from the Auto Tire & Parts warehouse at 212 S. Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau will give our Fredericktown customers the best service in the area," said Asher.

"We're excited and proud to be a part of the Fredericktown community," said Auto Tire & Parts president John Tlapek.
