NEW BUSINESS: UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP

Perry Plaza Shopping Center at Perryville is under new ownership.

The shopping center was recently purchased by Greater Missouri Builders Inc., headquartered in St. Charles.

Greater Missouri Builders is family with Southeast Missouri. The company has owned Town Plaza Shopping Center in Cape Girardeau the past 25 years.

Kent Evans, director of commercial real estate for the company, said the company had a wish list of 10 to 12 things to do, including a face-lift of the 120,000-square-foot (under roof) center.

The face-lift improvements will include some new outside lighting, landscaping, new signs and parking lot improvements.
