Nearly Perfect Shoes has opened its sixth store. The newest store in the group is at 209 S. Kingshighway. Other Nearly Perfect Shoe stores are at Jackson, Dexter, Poplar Bluff and Perryville. The store, which sells brand name shoes, offers a variety of athletic shoes, dress and casual shoes and boots for the entire family...

Nearly Perfect Shoes is a family-owned operation, founded in 1989 by Alan and Jeannine Kauffman at Advance. The Advance store has since closed.
Nearly Perfect Shoe is also noted for its "Nearmates," which caters to people who have slightly different size feet.
Store hours ate 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5.
