ULLIN, Ill. -- Dickerson Chevrolet has new owners and a new name. Donny Holley of Cape Girardeau and Jimmy Allen of Paducah, Ky., have purchased the Chevrolet dealership at Ullin, and will operate it as Cache River Chevrolet. Holley, formerly of Metropolis, Ill., has more than 20 years of experience in auto sales, seven of it in the Cape Girardeau area. Allen, who also owns a used car operation in Paducah, has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive field.
Clinton E. Dickerson, who is retiring, and Richard F. Dickerson, who will retain a position with the new owners, were previous owners/operators of the business, which opened in 1956.
Jim Brumitt of Anna will join the sales staff today.
