NEW BUSINESS: NEW MALL BUSINESSES

Northern Reflections and Northern Getaway have opened at West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau.

The two stores, under one roof along the Famous Barr corridor at the mall, feature clothing for women and children.

Northern Reflections features women's casual wear, including sweat shirts, denim and dress pants.

Northern Getaway handles children's wear from extra small and up through sizes 12 to 14.

Teresha Weinkein is manager of the store. Assistant managers are Sue Case and Janelle Hildebrandt.

Another business will open in the mall soon, Lenscrafters, a one-hour optical service.

Meanwhile, the mall's center court facelift continues.

"The new-look area should be completed by midweek," said mall manager Jim Govro.

The fountain area of the mall, with its amphitheater seating, is gone,

The center-court floor is now even with the rest of the mall and will provide a park setting.
