NEW BUSINESS: CLAIMS SERVICE OPENS

E-Med Claims Processing Services has opened at 209 S. Broadview in Cape Girardeau.

Susan Jenkins is owner of the new business, which specializes in electronic insurance claim filing for the medical industry.

Jenkins has 14 years of experience in the medical data processing field and office management. She recently received training in electronic claims processing at the National Claims Service of Sacramento, Calif.

"The new service is focused on relieving physicians and their staff of the burden of processing insurance claims for patients," said Jenkins.
