Florsheim Factory Outlet has moved From Plaza Way Shopping Center to West Park Village. The move was made to be closer to Interstate 55 and to benefit from increased traffic.
The store is 400 square feet larger than the other one. The new space has allowed the store to include a Bargain Back Room, where shoes are offered at reduced prices.
Florsheim Factory Outlet has been in business for seven years. It offers men's and women's dress and casual shoes 20 to 60 percent off the manufacturers' suggested retail prices. The store, open seven days a week, is managed by Don Hinkebein.
Cape Girardeau soon will have a new billiards hall. Broadway Billiards, 731 Broadway, will open Sunday.
The 4,500-square-foot former Bavarian Inn building will hold 11 billiard tables, darts and a cocktail lounge.
Owner Craig Horky hopes to attract serious pool players. He also plans to hold weekly tournaments and an occasional large tournament.
Broadway Billiards will be open six days a week from noon to 1:30 a.m. Adults 21 and older will be admitted.
Heartland Antiques has moved to 701 Willliam from 119 Independence. The new site, on the corner of Sprigg and William, is the same place the store was three years ago.
Heartland Antiques rents space to antique dealers. Together, they offer a full line of antique items.
The building makes Heartland Antiques more visible and gives it more room. More than 6,000 square feet are available for store use. Currently, 10 booths are rented and there is space for two more. The old building only had enough room for four booths.
The move was effective July 15, said owner Greg Hahs.
