Montgomery Bank needed a central place to gather and train employees from St. Louis to Sikeston,
so this past year, they built the Montgomery Bank Conference and Training Center.
The impressive facility, located at 526 West Main in Jackson, is a 17,000 square-foot center equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It features a 4,000 square-foot terraced auditorium with eight rows of theater seating, a 3,000 square-foot concourse area and two 220 square-foot meeting rooms. The concourse area features a bar with a full catering facility for events. The 20-person capacity boardroom features video conferencing equipment, to decrease travel time for employees located in other areas.
Montgomery Bank hopes the center brings renewed life to this part of Jackson. For consistency, all of the banks new employees will be trained at the facility.
This is a sign of our investment in our people, says Jim Limbaugh, executive vice president, and community bank president. It is our responsibility to equip our employees with skill sets to deliver the finest experience possible. This is a demonstration of our commitment to that.
Much thought went into not only the comfort and functionality of the training center but also into the artwork. The photographs adorning the walls are of iconic landmarks representing each of the markets Montgomery Bank serves. Many of the photographs are by the late Dr. David Crowe from Cape Girardeau.
Limbaugh hopes the center will become a gathering space not only for Montgomery Bank but also for other businesses and the community.
