Strobel placed first in the state in the Irrigated Class, with a yield of 250.1 bushels per acre. The hybrid planted gin the winning field was Pioneer 33VO8.

Hinkebein placed second in the state in Irrigated Class, with a yield of 245.6 bushels per acre. The hybrid planted was DeKalb DK697.

The growers were two of more than 500 state winners among more than 3,500 entrants nationwide.
