The merit award was presented by the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) in the category of company-funded, consumer-directed activities to build awareness of issues for farmers, companies or organizations. It was selected from among 415 entries. Awards were presented at the Agri-Marketing Conference and Trade Show in Denver last month.

The multi-faceted campaign was developed around the theme "2000 Smiles an Hour" to illustrate the fair's fast-paced fun. It included printed materials, TV, radio, print advertising and Web site development.
