MEMO: CHARTWELLS DINING SERVICE EARNS HONORS

Chartwells' educational dining services at Southeast Missouri State University was named "Regional Account of the Year" and a "Center of Excellence" recently at a Regional Chartwells awards banquet in Chicago.

Chartwells' account at Southeast Missouri State placed at the top of 66 Chartwells accounts in this region, which includes Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Nebraska and parts of Indiana and Kansas.

This award places Southeast among the top six Chartwells accounts in the nation.

The "Regional Account of the Year" award recognizes overall excellence in food quality, customer service, business operations and dining programs. The "Center of Excellence" designation recognizes strategic business locations that showcase the best sales and business development, are active participants in company promotions, host company signature food brands, employ a "Designated Management Trainer" and a chef graduate from a certified culinary program, and achieve outstanding sanitation, safety scores and customer services scores.
