Both regionally and nationally, gas prices have taken a slight tumble over the past week. The average cost for a gallon of unleaded gasoline fell from $3.19 to $3.16 in Missouri and from $3.48 to $3.43 on a national average.
Diesel prices saw similar drops, with the average diesel price in Missouri decreasing from $3.44 to $3.41 a gallon across Missouri and from $3.81 to $3.76 nationally.
Missouri still ranks in the bottom 10 states when it comes to cheapest average gas prices. At $2.97, Mississippi still has the cheapest average in the country, while Hawaii, at $4.67, maintains the highest average.

• Cape Girardeau: $3.10;
• Perry: $3.09;
• Scott: $3.14.

• Cape Girardeau: $2.94 to $3.02;
• Jackson: $3.06 to $3.19;
• Perryville: $2.99 to $3.09;
• Scott City: $3.17 to $3.19.
