JACKSON -- Indasia LLC has recently located in a new facility at 2370 N. High Street in Jackson. The company is involved in the distribution nationwide of spices primarily used by the poultry, sausage and meat industries.
The headquarters for its distribution network is located in a new building between Jackson and Fruitland on Highway 61 owned by Oak Enterprises. Tom Kelsey, broker for Lorimont Place Ltd., handled the lease transaction.
Henning and Brigitta Bollerslev are owners of the business ,and Helen Proffer serves as office manager. Product lines include special ready mixtures for sausage and meat as well as for delicatessen products, quality additives in liquid and powder form for meat processing and marinades for ready-to-cook meat products. Spice specialty lines also include barbecue and household spices for consumer use.
Kelsey said the Jackson company will use its facility to receive, ship and warehouse imported product lines. It will also serve as general offices, a customer service and quality control center.
