The way young people absorb information and connect to curriculum and each other has been modified by technology. At the Foundation, we're constantly seeking ways to collaborate with educators to help facilitate real learning. Without compromising standards or core education principles, we are working to help bridge the gap between the traditional classroom and the realities of today's world. With your help, we're keeping our classrooms relevant and our students engaged.
To that end, I'm proud to report the Foundation has provided learning opportunities through coding, robotics and virtual reality goggles. Another way we are investing in relevance is through developing new curriculum designed to prepare our young people for geo-intelligence careers, assisting in attracting next generation 'Geoint' jobs to our region.
If you fly a plane, sail a ship or are involved in agriculture, you will encounter the study of geospatial intelligence. Geointelligence-related careers are, in fact, among the fastest-growing in America. We are investing today to prepare our youth for those careers and make our region more attractive to future employers.
We know when a school system stays relevant, we will invariably improve on our top priority: results!
Thank you for your support and encouragement.
